HVAC DIAGNOSTICS ON A SCHEDULED BASIS
In addition to checking heat pump and air conditioner freon pressures and temperatures, inspecting refrigeration coils and components, testing electrical systems and condenser unit capacitors – inside and out – to determine the system’s condition and provide a cost-effective solution.
GAS APPLIANCE INSTALLATIONS, WATER HEATER REPLACEMENTS, and ELECTRICAL REPAIRS
A minor electrical repair service provided by PECO Heating & Cooling includes the replacement of outlets, switches, and receptacles. Even mini-split systems can be serviced and installed by us. Leaky faucets, leaking pipes, running toilets, and even replacing water heaters – gas or electric – are among the plumbing repairs. Also included in our service department is the installation of gas logs or appliances. Gas and electric water heaters – tankless or standard tank and heat pump water heaters – are installed and replaced by us.
AQUAQUALITY SYSTEMS
According to the EPA, indoor air can be 10 to 100 times more polluted than outdoor air because people spend 90 percent of their time inside. These types of unpleasant allergic reactions may be triggered by pollen, dust, and dust mites. Solutions are available in a variety of forms. Adding PECO’s air purification system to an existing heat pump, air handler, or coil can remove up to 99% of pollen, fungus, mold, mildew, dust, and odors. Germicidal lights and air filtration add-ons are also available. Air filtration, humidification, and dehumidification are all part of air quality.

A NEW HVAC SYSTEM WILL BE INSTALLED
One of the best systems for the southeast is a heat pump split system or heat pump package unit. At temperatures as low as 40 degrees, they run very efficiently. If you live in a colder climate, a dual fuel heat pump with a gas furnace can be a great option. In order to ensure optimal HVAC system performance, new ductwork must be installed, including fabric ducts. You can save energy every month without sacrificing your comfort with many of the high-efficiency heat pump systems we offer. The Federal Government still offers rebates for solar and geothermal systems and we also offer solar-ready heat pumps.
PLANS FOR MAINTENANCE SERVICES
With PECO Planned Maintenance Agreements, you can reduce your overall long-term repair costs for both commercial and residential HVAC systems. This includes two system checks a year, cleanings, and discounts. During the inspection, our experts clean the indoor coil or air handler as well as the outdoor heat pump condensing unit.
The installation of parts that need to be replaced or components that need to be installed
Some appliances are more cost-effective to replace than to repair, such as air handlers, furnaces, or outdoor condensers. These parts can easily be swapped out the same day. For older heat pumps and cooling only systems, we even have R22 dry charge heat pumps and air conditioners.
